Millions across the globe have and will honor President Gordon B. Hinckley with a cane wave or white handkerchief. Remember when he used to have a good laugh at using his cane not for walking but for waving to everyone in almost every place he went to? The Church has said they are pleased about this plan and that they think President Hinckley will be pleased too.
So, wherever you are today, bring a cane, a long stick for a cane, or a white handkerchief. Wave to him, do it as a class or as a ward or as a family. Take photos and send them to us at kirsch1215 (at) yahoo (dot) com and lightdream (at) gmail (dot) com. Members from all over the world will be uploading them to Flickr so we can show everyone how much we revere our prophet.
*getting up soon to get a cane or a white handkerchief. let’s do it!*
Salve, this is great!
hi janryll! thank you so much for visiting and leaving your feedback. i got some nice photos from a ward in Isabela doing the cane wave. They attached their white hankies on their “cane”. Isn’t that just touching
. I will upload the photos today.
Let me know if you have any tribute you want me to upload as guest post, or any photos. We would love to feature them. Regards
Dear Sis. Salve,
